Acrylic stress crack

I just moved my old 100 gallon acrylic tank to my new place to do some heavy cleaning and polishing. Tank hasn’t held water in well over a year. But I noticed some stress cracking in the lower left hand corner. I cannot feel the crack on the outside of the tank, but can definitely feel it with my nail on the inside. Also all the adhesive has turned white in the corner. This is the corner my heater was in, so I’m assuming this might have been caused by excessive heat on the acrylic. Is this repairable or should I just look into getting something new?564AF9E7-6AAB-4904-BD35-253D11459329.jpeg4DCC3BDD-3D2A-4014-9D52-6E82BAA2D412.jpeg

Acrylic is always repairable in my opinion. The glue used doesn't look like it was done properly in the first place. Pm me and get some better pictures. I can walk you through repairing.

+1… acrylic is almost always repairable. This can be patched inside or out and should hold just fine. The most important part about crack repairs is to drill them on end to stop the cracks from running. You need to drill completely through the material with a 1/8-1/4” bit. If you patch over top of the crack it can and will continue to run past ur patch work.
I helped a guy one time on a similar looking repair. He was afraid to drill a hole through the crack/tank and over the span of a few months and additional patches later he gave up. The initial crack was 2-3”…. It ran a good 12”+ and he sold the tank.
