Hi, I have a 12 inch (+- 30 cm) endli bichir in a 180G tank. It has always lived alone with an oscar.

My local petstore has an endli bichir for sale and it looks to be exactly the same size as my current one.
Is it generally safe to add a second bichir to the tank or is there a high likely hood they'll fight?

Thanks in advance for the help, here are some pics of my guy :)

Beautiful speciemen. There’s is a chance they will fight for heriachy. You can take the risk, I find lower jaws less likely to fight each other compared to upper jaws.
if they do eventually fight it out, be sure to buy another one or sell one!

Agree I personally added a wc Endli with Ornate and a cb Endlicheri. The wc Endlicheri after just minutes attacked the cb Endli. I took the wc Endlicheri to a lfs for trade for other fish. The cb Endlicheri finlets were shredded but grew back.
