today I learned an albino variant exists... and assists to actually be in stock.

Man that’s beautiful. If I was an experienced puffer keeper with a tank ready I’d be tempted to get it.

I wonder when they will become so commonplace that they will no longer fetch a $1500 price tag but something closer in price to a regular arrowhead?

I've kept a regular arrowhead before and it was like keeping a pet rock. It would just bury itself in wait to ambush food. Even though I like this albino variant, I don't think I would pay $1500 for tank decor, lol. Now if it was an albino hairy puffer... then I might be tempted. They are much more outgoing and social for me.

I'm gonna need you to stop hyping up the hairy puffer. For weeks I've been fighting the temptation to go buy a new tank AND spend $140 plus shipping to buy a hairy puffer from the wet spot lol

Hairy puffers rule, cichlids drool! lol

One of my all time favorite fish is the hairy puffer, but now that list also includes the red wolf fish.
