Albino red tail catfish?

I have the opportunity to buy a 2.5 in albino red tail cat for $100 USD. Is this a good price? Also what is the difference between platinum vs albino?

That's certainly the lowest price that I have ever seen a "white" RTC at any size go for by far.The main difference in the two variants is the eye color,the albino has red eyes and the platinum does not.

Never knew albino redtail existed. Only platinum & xanthic.

I’m not sure if it’s a Tru albino all I know is it’s white I’ll post pics when I pick it up

Difference between true albino rtc and other rtc is that true albinos have red or pink eyes

Are u sure its not ARTC? that seems to be the going rate for albino ARTC $100 a pop range... No albino RTC to my knowledge....only Xanthic rtc's being sold as "platinums".... UK price on small ones is around $150-250.... US price is $600-1500 depending on size/supplier. Id wager its a very long shot $100 on an xanthic rtc but hey u might get lucky. Any pics from ur vendor/supplier.
