Altum Identification Help

I'll roll with these 6. Had thought maybe i got a deal..... still nice fish, more and more color coming in. Will get them quaritined and dr'ed up then move them to the 125g blackwater. Oh and whats with the brown spots on only 1 side of the fish?

Spots are a common feature. These are wild p. scalare nice fish much easier to keep and breed than p. Altum and much nicer IMO than designer angles. Black water isn't needed and a pH in the high 6's is fine. The name Peruvian Altum is just a marketing tool. Enjoy them great fish.
