Hi All-I've had this copper bird cage for awhile. These pop up only occasionally and while beautiful, they're pretty unusable. That is for a tall cage they only have bottom door entrances which makes cleaning it a total pain. Through a little ingenuity, I was able to change that. Had a friend who is beyond handy cut away an upper mid section of the cage so all areas of it are easily accessible for maintenance. We matched cage parts to the cut away area, permanently attached these new parts and repainted it with bird safe spray paint which perfectly matches the rest of the cage. No more going about the impossible task of snaking your arm up to try to clean. Also with the cage is a custom stand that looks of the same period. They look fantastic together. I've kept birds in this cage for several years without issue, though I wouldn't go with finches as they're perhaps too small. Parakeet, cockatiel and small conures will do nicely though. This is a statement cage that offers both form and now function. I have WAY, WAY more invested than my asking price. Gonna start things at $350 and will expressly have it for sale on MFK. Going to post elsewhere after that. Only selling because I need more room for aquariums as fish are coming in from a seller here (thank you Thomas!).
