I was hoping it was a male having all that color and no spot on the dorsal, guess my eyes didn't want to make clear of the vent, I swear I see it as a point and not a U shape lol

It's a female. Hope the following will help others in the future. From the profile view, males appear thin and pointed. Females are thicker and blunted at the tip.
