Have you tried underground aquatics? They are in west Babylon.

I’m actually going there later today to get 2 Senegal bichirs but all he has are large temensis

Are you from LI? There’s a place in Flushing that has kelberi but the reviews and customer service when I called seem horrible, monster aquarium. Probably a long shot but has anyone had any experience with them? I might take the drive out to see their fish before I order anything but seems like eBay is my best bet so far

Used to live in elmont. Live in central fl now for the last 16 years. I’ve ordered from monster aquarium and no issues. I’ve ordered from Underground aquatics and no issues too. They get some sought after and interesting stock.

Many people here order from Steve at exoticfishshop and I don’t think I’ve ever seen any issues posted. I had a very slight issue one time which I didn’t feel warranted bringing up, it was a single fish out of a dozen ordered died after a week or two after they got delivered which I casually mentioned a month or two after when he asked how they were doing and he immediately offered to subtract the price of that fish from the new order I was making at that time. He’s a good man and I trust him.

I live in Astoria Queens about 15 minutes from Monster Aquarium. was actually there on Saturday they have a pretty good selection but IMO they are pretty pricey i bought two 2inch Texas cichlids cost $30. why not check out Predatory Fins they are on LI and Rod has all kind of bass

Thanks. I reached out to predatory fins because the website only shows fogo and short body kelberi (which isn't what I'm looking for) to see if they had any other kelberi other than the short bodies or if they'd be getting any in. I got a response with a link to the website homepage, nothing else. I work in online sales emailing back and forth many times all day long to get orders. The fact that they couldn't provide a simple yes or no was really baffling to me. Would still give them another shot because they do have some awesome fish but not a good first impression. I will probably take the drive out to monster aquarium soon to take a look at their stock.
