Hello guys, I started a new tank 2 days ago but I got no stocking.
Does anyone have an idea? I was thinking about salamanders.
The tank is 80cmx60x40(I thought, havent measured it yet.)
The water is around 10cm high.

Iranian newts could work
Or albino rough newts

Keep water cool
For them
they look cool only I can't find what albino rough newts are. And Iranian newts are around 150 dollars..... :(

Do you have another idea?

Put a screen on your tank, add clown treefrogs
I like ur idea, but I dont think that this tank is suited for climbing frogs. And I already got 3 tree frogs in a bigger more suited terrarium. I think I wil go with fire newts or crested newts.
Is it possible to combine them?

Should be , most newts can be cohabbed together

Deadliestviper7 Deadliestviper7 Iranian newts? How about Iberian newts? Those could definitely work. They are a hardy little amphibian that don't take up a lot of space. If given the chance they will go up on land. Another thing to think about are tiger salamanders. If you have them near water they will spend a lot of time in it. I would recommend the latter.

I wouldn't recommend that. At mating season a male may get antsy and attack a newt of another species that doesn't know how to cope. For newts in particular, everything having to do with mating involves biting. Sometimes a large male will chase a rival around for hours on end. As long as it's another male newt, he'll go after it. North American newts are generally the most prone to this, as well as paddletails. If you go Iberian you should be fine.
