API Super ICK Cure?

Ok ive been battling ick in my 130 since sunday sat night actually raised temp added salt airstones etc.Well lastnight my small royal pleco died and the ick looked alot worse on my fahaka puffer and hes been hanging at the top just looking badddddd .So i googled around and found that api super ick works for scale less fish like my puffer so iproceeded to buy some and added it at half dose along with melafix which i read was good for healing his gills helping with breathing i guess ..Any way my questions are have u guys used this before, did it work,and does it kill your bio?I hate using unnatraul stuff but i dont wanna lose anymore fish i wanna help them its hurtin me to watch ...Im open for ideas advice so let me hear it !

I just got done with an ich battle using salt and heat, but salt is a no no for scaless fish so don't try that again. I think using meds is your best chance with how you describe the remaining fishs condition. Best thing is, if you catch it early, is to raise temp to 86. Ich can't reproduce at that temp so if your fish can handle the heat for two weeks give or take, ich will be eradicated and your in the clear (most can handle the heat, I did it with goldfish). When using meds, make sure carbon is taken out of filtration. GL!!

Thanks for the advise man ,its just everything i've read and was told said use salt,and i had the temp close temp between 83-85 he just looked like he couldnt handle it no longer thats why i backed it down and went this route ..I have my fingers crossed that they make it so i hope this stuff does the job

My Oscars had a bad case of Ich back when I first got em. I just used the Mardel Coppersafe and they got better after a few days. I have a couple different fish in there and it didn't seem to bother any of them. The Pleco was the only one I read that might not take to it real good anyway :/

Ive used that API super ick cure. Works like a charm. All of my fish had ick and got rid of it in 2 days tops. Just dont forget to take our any carbon or filters you may have because they kills the meds.
