Arapaima

The arapaima is now in the pond. He was about 25 inches. I grew him out in a 180 gallon. It grew equally as fast as the red tail catfish that was also transferred to the pond today.

Probably bigger than 25 inches. The container should be 28 inches corner to corner.

He’s addicted to pellets. He will come when the pellet is thrown in I’m sure.

It’s my father in laws pond. It’s stocked with tilapia, walking catfish, and soft shell turtles. I’m sure there are other fish in there too.

In general, it stays above 50 F year round.
