im not sure but my friend had one a few years ago and he bought it with a certificate in a Chinese shop in Jamaica/Queens, NY..i guess its a blackmarket trader.

It's true—legally imported Asian Arowanas in the US should come with a CITES certificate and a microchip for verification, since they're protected under international trade regulations.
Ten-year-old thread, 100+ posts explaining that this isn't true...and yet you resurrect it with this BS?

Tell ya what: I'll get one for you up here in Canuckistan, chipped, certified, 100% legal here. You come up to get it...I'll even meet you at the border (on my side of it...) and then you can post about it here for all to read. You'll be performing a public service! :)

Just let me know the colour variety and size you want; there's a dealer in Winnipeg who likely even has your desired fish in stock. :)

Personally, I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt...and just assume you're a bot. Not quite sure enough to report you as such, but...it's still early. :)
