I bought my armatus 2 days ago. I notice it's not swimming around and eating. I given mp,live feeder, blood worm and it's not eating!! Currently in a 2ft tank with pacu, I had tried separate them and left the armatus alone. Please help !!! Advise needed thanks in advance !

Calm down!!! It may just be acclamating to the new tank. When you removed the pacus you put on further stress on it so just keep the lighting dim and try to not disturbe it.

Yes. Pacu are huge fishes. I'm getting new tank soon as I now 7 pacu fry with me. I'm worried as I get the armatus quiet costly. =(

It's an baby armatus. Around 4inches
Nice,it should grow fast after it settles in and gets comfortable. Some eat within minutes of being in new tank and some may take a few days.

Needs to settle in a few days. So it's ok if it hasn't eaten. Just try to find out what it was eating prior at the lfs. Which is feeders, my guess. Leave the feeders in the tank and keep count of them.

for armatus it should be kept alone ? Or to be kept in a group ? It's still not eating and swimming around. Got me so worried.
