Does anybody know if you can buy the armored catfish(callichthys) in the U.S.?

These guys have always had healthy stock whenever I order from them
Never ordered from them but receive their newsletter and like what I hear about them, always drooling over the stock list lol.
There are many species of hoplo aka porthole armored catfish available in the trade, I believe including one of the most common species you provided the picture of. I've kept at least 3-4 different species.
If you are in FL, you can net them out of any and all bodies of water, let it be a swamp, river, canal, ditch, or even a seasonal puddle. They are everywhere. I can't tell you which species though because I've never looked into it.
(BTW, WetSpot has my highest recommendations too.)
