Arowana and azul peacock bass?

Hello, i have a 5" nami green arowana, before this i try to mix it with 2 4" oscar, white and black, the black one always trying to nip my arowana and the arowana is still swimming with them like a wierd pack or something, and i notice, my aro started too lose it scale already, 2 to be precise, so i move my oscar and put it in another tank,

And now the tank look so empty, so i decided to try again with peacock bass (azul), my lfs have 3" pb, and i want to try to put it together, is it safe? How many pb can i put? 1-2? Is the pb will be aggressive? Pb here is cheaper then my aro hahah.

My tank size is 4ftx1.5ftx1.5ft it is a standard size here and the biggest lfs have,


I also already ordering custom size aquarium for the fish when it get big, 6ftX2ftx2ft

Welcome aboard

I recommend you wait or growout the PBass in a separate aquarium. The Arowana will outgrow the PBass and probably view the PBass as food.https://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/threads/nami-green-arowana.714100/

Tbh don't know if 1 PBass and the Arowana will get along but most keep PBass in groups normally 3-4. Cichla just like any Cichlid will have a ranking order so 2 wouldn't be good.

I personally wouldn't divide the aquarium the Silver Arowana needs the swimming space with those dimensions of the aquarium.
 
Hello guys, just bought 2 peacock bass today 4inch size, and i put it into the tank, thank god they dont fight, the aro is still the king of the tank, and the aro sometimes nudge the pb, nothing serious yet happen, except for both pb just eat all the feeder fish in the tank hahahha
