My footlong black arowana :headbang2 jumped to hard against the lid of my tank, and lost about a silver dollar sized patch of scales on her side. :swear: Looks like only the first layer, but it was very upsetting. :22_yikes: Its been about two days and she hasn't really healed up yet, and im wondering if anyone has any experience with something like this. Mabye something I can do to help with healing. :feedback: Shes in a 210 gallon tank, with a 6.5 ph and perfect water quality. I add a little salt, and Prime when I do water changes. She eats crickets and Krill, but prefers crickets. Awsome fish, but im worried. Any input is good.

Hi there

Dont worry too much, they grow back reasonably quickly, you should have seen how many scales came off my pair of 26" silvers when I came catch them.
Silvers and Blacks are very skittish but heal quickly.
