Arowana fin rot?

Hi everyone,

I got some Asian arowana yesterday and I can’t for the life of me remember if they have smooth fins or are a little jagged on the edges? Probably a stupid question but I’d rather ask and be sure. Could this be the start of fin rot? All three fish’s fins look exactly the same, no white areas and just slightly jagged on the outside. Fish seem active, happy and healthy otherwise. Any input? I was looking through google images and a lot of the arowana fins look the same but would rather be prepared in advance,

I believe they are supposed to be smooth. Yours might be just a tiny bit jagged. No big deal, just treat with the typical stuff for a little while and you should be fine.

Okay thanks, I will keep an eye on them, they are in quarantine anyway. Not sure what treatments I can use if/when it comes to it as I have a Ray in there too.
