I want to get a super red arowana from Planet Arowana in the future and have a few questions about equipment and other stuff, I'm gonna get a custom made tank with dimensions of 94x35x24 inches (LxWxH) or bigger if need be and want to know:
1. What filter would be best for a tank of this size?
2. What heater would be best?
3. Can the Supreme Arowana Led be the only lighting used or would another be needed if I want plants?
4. Could angelfish or discus live with an adult arowana and tigrinus catfish? If not what colorful fish would you recommend?
I'm new to Arowanas and I'd appreciate any feedback.

I'm going to say sump, that's one hefty tank and a sump would be the most cost effective solution.

2. What heater would be best?
Can't help here.

Those tanning lights are not ideal for plants afaik. What do you want to grow in the tank?

4. Could angelfish or discus live with an adult arowana and tigrinus catfish? If not what colorful fish would you recommend?
Personally I'd say no. Discus are fairly expensive and a little more specialised when it comes to care, angelfish may become lunch unless you find some seriously big fish. I'd look at something like a flagtail for midwater activity. Personal opinion :)

For plants I was thinking Java fern, amazon sword plant or some sort of anubias plant and i'll look into the flagtail since they look cool, thanks for the feedback.

My replies would be almost exactly as Hendre's (incl. the Flagtail tank mate suggestion, they're awesome fish and one of the best tank cleaners).
