Anyone ever heard of one, or several, for sale? I remember reading that oddball was gonna try to acquire some to breed. Any info would be great. Thanks :)

They're not being let out of Tasmania. However, I found a research lab in Australia that may sell me a trio of juvies at $1k each provided I get the permits authorized through my hatchery business. I don't want to offer the resource until after I've solidified my deal.

BTW, there are several southern US states that have this species on their restricted lists. Check with your state before starting the headache of importing them.

forget fish genius, consider yourself master of resourcefulness. Thanks for the reply, despite it not being the answer I wanted to hear lol

hey oddball, any LEGAL alternatives to this species. Something huge, less expensive and possibly able to winter in a pond?
