This is an East African Gaboon viper...
This was when he was little... He is about 3 feet long now... Their temperment is pretty layed back for the most part... I do not feed live for the most part these days... I have fed live and it is usually over very fast...

Gaboons are by far my favorite snake species and keeping them is pretty simple... Not a good beginner species but they do make great captives....
