Have you tried any different techniques with the buffing? Any better results?

no, but the guy we got the filter from said to go to http://www.micro-surface.com/ he said he used it on his tank. he started with 320 grit. then continued to 6000 grit. it looked really nice when i seen the finished product.

When sitting on the couch the middle of the tank is head height. Its a beautiful thing, looking left at a big tank, then looking forward and seeing a big 58" plasma on the wall.
Great setup. I have the exact same layout of tank/tv in my room, with tank to left at eye level and tv up front. Its great because when the tellys on the ads, or im waiting to start a new team deathmatch, I just look over and stare at the fish. It works out great. Only thing I have foound though is seeing the reflection of the tv in the tank. It spoils the view of the fish. At least I cant see the tank in the tv, as its an LCD, but your plasma might catch the tank's lights, which could spoil your view. Good luck with the build, looking forward to seein it stocked.
