So its filled!!!!!!!!! Its been alot of work for us (sponger_2) getting it to what it looks like today. If you ever pick up a used bead filter make sure to backwash it first before strapping it up to the tank. We didnt and ended up with 500 gallons of mississippi river brown water. ughhhhhh. Drained it and filled it up again. (water is paid for)
We were changing filter socks every 10 mins or so. So now we have just loose starnds of brown that is easy to vacuum out.
here is a full tank shot as of yesterday. I have 2 xp2 filters and 2 sponges in there right now. We have the filter socks and some matala mat in the sump also. Right now there are 2 abalios, 1 rainbow, 1 orangehead, 1 albino bn, and 1 royal pleco. 500 watts is keeping the tank at 79 degrees.
