Can anybody give me the dosage of baking soda per gallons of water to raise my PH? My fish were acting a little funny and lethargic so I tested the water and everything's good except for the PH being a bit low(around 6).I also just added more media in all my filters to hopefully later prevent this problem. Thanks

To raise KH and pH, add baking soda (sodium bicarbonate). A baseline recommendation is 1 teaspoon per 5 gallons of water (dissolve in a cup of aquarium water if adding directly to the tank). For an established aquarium, remember to take this slowly as fish are highly sensitive to pH changes.

NP bro, just becarful raising your ph can be very tricky and dangerous make sure you take it really slow fish don't do good with rapid change in ph and usually die from it. But if you take it slow it should be fine.

1 teaspoon per 5 gallons sounds like an awful lot unless you're going for a drastic change. I had issues with pH dropping between water changes. With some trial and error I found that 1/4th teaspoon per 10 gallons kept my pH stable between water changes.

When it comes to baking soda, a little goes a long way.
