I picked up a 125g glass tank used real cheap. I have not completed a leak test yet, but plan on this real soon. The silicone looks good between the glass, but I am worried about the silicone that is chipping. I think I will leak test it just to find any problem areas, then I will have to make a choice at this point.

I am rebuilding the wall in my basement for the tank, my choice is do I use the 125g tank as is (resealed) or do I jump off the cliff and use the glass for a plywood tank built into the wall? If I go plywood option (which I am leaning towards) I will use the side and front glass for viewing panels and extend the depth front to back by about 24 in or so, giving me aprox 7 feet wide, and 4 feet front to back.

I hope to post some pics this weekend on the basement area, tank, and plans. Maybe even stream some video.

Any thoughts or ideas, suggestions are very, very welcome at this point.
