do all species of peacock bass get humps, and if so what size does the hump start to appear

I am an Amphilophus NUT, so I love my nuchal humps, but I am tryin to go a different route fish wise, and I'm lookin at peacock bass but they really don't do anything for me without that NICE hump you see on some I love this color and hump of Kelberi's

so basically which was get humps and when does this hump start to appear, I know Peacocks grow almost OVERNIGHT I am just wantin something to catch attention and get me off of the aggressives for a while

my next tank setup will be with a few peacocks, a couple rays, and an arowana, and a few bichirs

I've only seen proper nuchal humps on monoculus, ocellaris and kelberi. You won't get nuchal humps on orinos, azuls, temensis or pinima. There are other cichla that can grow humps but they aren't really available in the trade.

I've seen humps on all species of peacock bass except orinos.....this is just me personally. I haven't seen every fish in the world and I'm just going off memory.

The ones that i've seen with humps are most commonly monos, ocells and kelberi or hybrid mono/ocells. These seem to get them at a smaller size and get bigger nuchal humps. Azuls, pinima, xingu, and temensis seem to develop their humps when they're 2+ feet and it's not as prounouced. more of a small bump?

My kelberi's developed them at around 12" (1.5 years)
