Best pleco growth food?

What in your opinion is the best food to enhance pleco growth and colors? Both Veggies and commercial food. Also let's see pictures of your giant plecos.

Tbh i personally believe algae and all natural things in your tank and the wild to be the best growth and color enhancers but thats just my opinion
 
NLS 10mm tabs is a great food.
HBH veggie wafers and nls thera a

Carrots, sweet potato, green peas, turnip and whit potato are great fresh foods.

I also feed live foods like worms, snails, shrimp and crayfish

I gotta royal and a common. The royal chills on wood al day i feed him 2 slices unblanched zuccini every other night. The common eats up the algea and exces food but if i see him searchin constantly ill drop an algea waffer for him but then that means i gotta put one in for the royal or theyl fighr over it lol... The common even eats sinkin shrimp tablets but the royal wont touch em...uploadfromtaptalk1346134664819.jpg

For common plecos I ask because I was told by hikari people that only algae wafers were best and that adding any fruits/veggies could mess up the balance of nutrients that they had "very carefully chosen" but I want to give mine a good balanced diet because I want him big and know that veggies and fruits are good

Vegetables that's solid and non acidic is good, ex. Zucchini and potatoes is what i feed my l190 plus wardley or hikari algae wafers too. But I feed my psuedas massivore and chopped shrimp soaked in vitachem
 
My common pleco LOVES cichlid pellets, before he would just eat them off the bottom at night but now in the morning when I feed my Africans he swims all over through them grabbing them and gobbling up the ones that hit the gravel.
Also feed him cucumbers, that he is slowly starting to love more and more. He didn't like zucchini when I tried it. I don't blanch the cucumber either. Just slice it up and anchor it to the bottom.

Also algae tabs, he attacks them.

Oh and forgot to add, he's tripled in size in the 2 months I've had him with all these foods. He was only about 2 inches when I got him and he's about 6 inches now. (:
 
Would this be a good diet for a common to get it to grow big? Along with any flakes bloodworms he finds leftover from the other fish, and algae, he gets
2 or 3 slices of zuchinni per week and i shove 3 or 4 hikari little carnivore pellets into the zuchini which he loves
2 algae wafers a day
