Best singing finches?

I'm looking at getting some finches as a little breeding project to make some cash and I want ones that look cool and sound cool. Any suggestions? I like gouldians and cordon bleu's so far. Fire away

I'm not sure if you'll make any money selling finches; is there that big of a demand for them?

Anyway, I'd go with the Gouldian finches purely on the basis of how cool they look.

Not rue, my mother sold Gouldian finches for long time. More popular in some area than others. Canaries is also another avenue.

Here in the valley birds are gaining popularity with people. Personally I think it's because of the influence of a certain religion, where it seems everyone lives with or near their grandparents and the grandparents seem to always have a warm old time classic feel in their houses if that can really explain it, and oftentimes with that they have birds like finches or cockatiels that sing and look pretty in little cages near the windows or dinner table. Also The lrs I go to is always looking for new bird and rabbit suppliers, and I like finches so it seems like a good opportunity. Especially since young unbred pairs of some species can fetch a few hundred bucks!
