Doing water changes
No i have been hearing that this will help bring the red/pink color out of silvers but the only information i find on it is for people to take it and nothing about fish. Where can buy this to add to my silvers diet?

what is that?

i believe carrots have lots of that stuff. Feed carrots to mealworms and fish eat the mealworms... i think that's the easiest way.

I believe Omega One pellets contain Carotenoids.

aside from color enhancing pellets and the above stated, you could also carrot gut load crickets.

funny thing is that eventually your mealworms will turn pink! :D

If you really wanna make an impact in a pinkish red color I personally use astaxanthin powder and spirilina powder and shake it with FD shrimp. Also I use foods with cyclopteze to your feeders and gut load them..........make sure to feed plenty of carrots and hikari food sticks ( which contain astaxanthin and spirilina as well) I also inject liquid astaxanthin into FD crickets and Shrimp as well....liquid from "bioastin" a natural supplenment. ;)

astaxanthin powder, market prawns, shrimp and krill will help bring out the nice red/pinkish colour your after depending on aro ofcourse.
if you can get your hands on astaxanthin powder this works wonders for me it truly brings out the reddy colours.
Also some ways people feed powdered products is to gutload the food your about to feed you fish.

Ive actually been gutloading crickets with the color enhancing food they sell at my LFS. Its the same stuff they give flowerhorns and discus to bring out the red. Ill start using carrots. Wait Could I use both?
