I was at my cities local aquarium club show and was blown away by the betta in the competition. I usually ignore these little guys but man they were beautiful. I know they aren't monster fish, but check them out!

I was at the fish store today and was blown away by the colours on some of the species of rainbow fish. In fact I was that impressed with them I got myself a small shoal, and will be adding to it very soon. Too many of the smaller fish get overlooked and there are some real beauties out there.

There are actually quite a lot of interesting species of betta... just really need to look into them to see that there is a lot more than what we commonly see sold in cups...
Species such as Betta Channoides, Betta Hendra and spot fin betta are 3 good examples...
