Sorry to hear. How long after the gravel vac incident did the wolf die? I’m curious if the injury got infected and that’s what did it in.
Also, did yours ever wind up eating the pleco or did it always leave it alone?

It was at least 8 months back on the gravel vac incident. Fins were healing up nicely and it showed no issues of the ordeal otherwise. Was eating as good as it could at that moment with no issues with missing pellets or anything. When it went downhill, it happened fast, with in the last month or so.

I eventually rehomed the bristle nosed pleco, it was a pretty big male. The wolf would not leave it alone if it came out from under its dug out little spot under a large Mopani stump. The wolf was very territorial with it. I just felt bad for the pleco, he didnt ask for that treatment, lol.
