I have 3 pretty big angels (About 6 inches from the top of their fins to the bottom) in a tank with 4 black skirt tetras, 2 red serpae tetras, 2 bleeding heart tetras, a 3 inch Chinese Hi-fin Banded Shark, an albino rainbow shark, a regular rainbow shark, three 1.5 inch yoyo botias, and a butterfly pleco in a 65 gallon tank. Would it be alright to have a black ghost knifefish in it?

Thanks!

my BGK has lived with a blue whale, peacock bass, various plecos, he's currently go a pleco that thinks he's tougher and keeps trying to steal his space behind the foam filter from him.

i'm thinking about setting up my 100 gallon tank that's in the back yard with my older, larger angelfish, the red bay snook, my BGK, royal pleco and the two commons that need to learn some manners.

another MFK member has angels with her BGK.. or the other way around.. BGK with her angels.. apparently successfully, or she would have moved somebody by now.

Ok cool. So the angels won't attack the BGK or vice versa?

Nope...the Angels and BGK should be fine together. Just give the BGK some places to hide.

i had a bgk in a tank with two big angels he doesn't bother anyone. he is very interesting he just lays around in my decor alot.

i have only angels in with my BGK and one bushy nose pleco... everything is fine... i did notice at one point though the very tip of his tail was nipped.. but he is happy with them and does not bother them and i have not seen anymore nips on his tail.... he is 15 inches and grew up with a tank full of baby angels.. so he has been with them over a year... like Ben mentioned just have a cave or tube for him to go in,... the only fish you mentioned that i would worry about is the sharks... your sharks are probably fine though if they are good with the angels .. i had one shark{red tail} that i had to remove from the community tank... he was always biting and nipping.. he lived for 9 years in a big tank with my giant pacus..

Thanks guys for all the feedback. I'm probably getting one sometime soon.

Had mine with angels for over a year without any problems.
