Last week, While I was on night shift. Two of the paradise fish were pairing up,
and a large male was harassing the other fish in the tank. And killed my black female.
So my girlfriend removed the one, And threw him into one of her betta bowls,
To give the others a break. She told me about it, And I thought nothing about it.
Well the next evening as I was going to work, I noticed the male was a black paradise,
And the female was a Chinese paradise fish.

Well, By the next morning they were breeding. I now have a tub full of fry. I will probably
raise part of them, just to see the out come. Here is a picture of the fry, And one shot
of the camera shy parents.

The only reason I keep hanging on to paradise fish, Is because they were the first
egg layers I ever bred. (so many "35-40" years ago) LOL

Paradise hybrids are awesome. I can't wait to see these! PM me in a few months and I might be able to buy a few if you'll ship. Thankfully, paradise ship well!

If they make it, Sure. But we just lost two tubs of bettas this week. Setting record highs down here. AC can't keep up.

Gotcha - I know them as just "Paradise Fish" :) Wonder how the babies will turn out - hope they make it!

After 2 weeks, The babies are growing fine.
But now, The parents are about to breed again.
So in the past couple of days, The numbers have dwindled
down drastically. So I have pulled out a dozen or so, And
placed them in a large empty betta tank on my desk.
They are still small at 2 weeks old, But doing fine
