Hey, I've been posting that I wanted to keep bluegill in my turtle tanks as a pet/food. But will the 2" and 7" bluegill eat the 3/4" guppys? Also, there are 2" rosiereds and goldfish but the Bluegill eat them?

What should I feed a captive 2" & 7" bluegill?

The Bluegill will eat the guppies and the rosiereds, its only a matter of time. The Bluegills will eat ANYTHING I used to catch them on bubble gum when I was a kid.

Bluegill will eat just about any fish it can fit in it's mouth. Feeders aren't a good food source for bluegills or turtles I'm afraid. I suggest focusing on feeding them turtle and fish food. Cichlid pellets will work for the bluegills.

Will the 'gills go for goldfish & betta pellets?

better yet, will wild bluegills recognize pellets as food?

Most definitely! I have never had an issue with gills accepting ANY type of food.
