Bobcats Return To Ohio 😀

They’re supposedly making a comeback over here in northern NJ as well, there’s even been a few sightings in neighboring towns over the last couple years.

Gotta be more out there than people think/realize… heard many 1st hand accounts of locals “keeping” them as pets and or feeding them in my area of north east ohio. Crazy none have been reported since 1850. I don’t believe it lol…

Its a bit misleading… the article says its the 1st one spotted in Cuyahoga county since 1850, not the state/surrounding counties.

Much to my surprise I found out a few yrs ago from my brother who lives in Calgary AB, that there is a large population of bobcats now living within the city limits.
I had no idea we had bobcats in AB. Cool says I, then he sent me this.

Yeah I definitely would keep cats and small dogs indoors.
