Took some snaps of a friends pythons the other day and thought I would share them with you all..these are my favourite species of snake absolutely stunning and very docile.

they're great looking, wow i never realized they were so shiny. almost
plastic looking if u ask me, but still beautiful none the less
 
WOW. Boelen's pythons are one of my favorites. It's a shame they're so rare in the wild and in captivity...how much did your **extremely lucky** friend have to fork over for those snakes?
 
Very nice shots! New Guinea/Australian Pythons are my favorites. Makes me miss my old collection.
 
Thanks Owen..not my place to say what he paid for them although a respected shop in the UK has a youngster for £2295 I believe...My friends are all young adults and the larger of them is over 10ft long. I too miss alot of my old collection Deathcurl..but hoping to start adding to it again soon.;)

I'm assuming he fares pretty well with them. I've read they're rather difficult to acclimate and even old veterans in the python biz succeed in just keeping them alive. Any tips or special techniques he'd like to share? I, too, rate Boelens as my favorite python and would someday like to obtain one or two, should the Lord tarry and finances permit.
