Is there anyplace to buy the Bowfin (Amia Calva) in Canada at all? Would prefer in Ontario but anywhere they are available in the country would be helpful. i have always wanted to try keeping them?

Yea . . . I'm looking to buy bowfin aswell. 2-4 inches. I checked out a few website like Joan, predatorypet, bluegrassaquatics, eBay. Nothing. Also tried Facebook. Anyone have any for sale in the USA

They are available like other fish are just certain times of the year be patient and hang tight they spawn in the springtime up here where we are (from North IL area myself 20 min drive to WI border) am sure during that time farms will be supplying them to the vendors. Ask your favorite one to put you on wait list.
You know, since you live in MN, you can just catch one if worst comes to worst. Not even joking or anything, just look for stagnant lakes and slow streams, and with some time and luck you might just find what you're looking for
