Bowfin availability?

Been looking for one for almost year now with no results Was wondering if y'all MFK's got them via shops or if they were wild caught ones?

Some of the vendors should have small ones sometime in the spring.I think Jeff Rapps was the last to have them that I can recall.

Come fishing in Upstate NY, we have lots of them.

I fish lake Erie basin area alot and I've seen them up there on a few occasions but they were all 20 plus inches and I feel like they wouldn't adapt so well to life in an aquarium. I'll keep trying throughout the warmer months for a small one though.

I've seen schools of babies in early summer.
