Came across this catfish and wanted to know more info before I decide if I want it or not. I've searched the Internet and planet catfish but not much info. The catfish I'm interested is brachyplatystoma sp. salton. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks

Very nice looking cat. Looks like a Pimelodus sp. The one offered for sale has spots on it with a long trailer on its tail fin.

Thanks for the article Thebiggerth. After reading the whole thread, it seems these cats get big.

Interesting cat. If it is a Brachyplatystoma, I've never seen one like this.

It'd be nice to get a few more shots and of better quality.

Unfortunate this is the only pic that the seller posted on Craigslist and I don't want to bother the seller unless I'm 100% sure I will buy it.

You can't buy it unless you are 100%... well, at least 90%+ sure what it is.
