Caught the other day in the Rolling Pedro miguel, Panama.
They raged from about 4", with largest @ 8"
They are in reality much more silvery in color, but my tank is inundated with Tannins, and is influencing the photos.
Tannins are starting to become diluted, so I can now see more than and inch or 2 in the tank.
Was able to get a shot of one of the Bramocharax, a few inches above a 3" Andinoacara cichlid, to provide a little size contrast.
Just found out, these are not from the genus Bramocharax, but instead are genus Brycon.
And these are not full grown adults, as full grown adults, max size, is about 20" (500 mm)
The defining trait, is that the upper jaw of Brycon, extends beyond thee lower jaw.
