I breed Electric Blue Crays and marbles.
Blue crayfish are alittle more hard to get going. But once you get them breeding they'll keep going.

I know the Video says P. Alleni but I don't think they are in Australia???
From the price I'd say you're talking about the Electric Blue Marron ~ Cherax Tenuimanus. Some pics in my Albums.

What size tank would you need to breed them?
For a pair I would say a 20 Long Tank is good. Because as you breed them your going to want to keep some of the baby blues. For a grow out tank for the little ones you might want to consider a few tubes. Its easier and cheaper. Or you can get another 20gl Long. If its a Alleni. The babys will eat each other so the more floor space the better. Give them a mix of foods. And veges. Shrimp pellets. And sometimes fish flakes.

Give lots of hiding places.

Ok..... If they're Marron and you're in QLD........You'll probably have trouble with the heat.
They are alot trickier to manage than your normal yabby.

Adult Marron grow best at 23~24 deg Celcius. Stress out over 25 deg and will start to die around 30deg. Juveniles how-ever, may stop feeding if the water temp gets over 23deg C. You may need a chiller. QLD water temps can reach upwards of 35deg C. on a 40deg day......

Most Marron reach sexual maturity at 3yrs of age. Some at 2yrs.
Unlike Red Claw & Destructor (Yabbies), Marron only breed once per year.

The whole mating process starts when the water temp and light levels start to rise during Spring. Min of 12hrs light. You may have to cool the water down over Winter and slowly increase it to simulate Spring and the water temps in their natural environment. Start at say 17 / 18 deg increase to 23 deg. Keep PH at 7.5. Highly Oxygenated water.

Marron are very large & very territorial. You will need a large tank. 4ft plus and extra wide. The bigger the better. Introduce both Males and Females to the new tank at the same time. That way no one has a claimed territory to defend.....

If you do get them preggers, make sure you have heaps and heaps of hiding places. PVC pipes / Scrunched up Fly Screens / Onion Bags etc. etc.

Make sure to remove the adult males once the females are in berry.
Remove the females after young are released from mother..... :D

It may be easier if you started out with Redclaw or Blueclaw Yabbies.
Just set the temp at 27~28deg celcius with 14hrs light and watch them go nuts!!! You'l have 2-3 broods per year no worries.
