Buttikoferi aggression question

Has anyone kept them with nocturnal bottom fish with any luck? I have a larger sized syno angelicus hybrid that I would like to keep with my butti. The syno is pretty aggressive/territorial himself but spends most of the day hiding. It’s about 7-8” now and the butti is now about 5.5-6” and is currently in a 75 and currently shopping for a 150-180 for him. He is pretty aggressive already, bangs the glass like crazy.

I kept mine in a 150 gal where it killed everything including Pleco's, although mine was about twice the size of yours.
I eventually put it in kiddy pool that held about 1,000 gals where it lived alone

Wow, if it killed plecos, I’m sure it would kill a syno, I guess I won’t risk it then, it’s a beautiful syno. Thanks for the info!
