It's a mix of upper and lower jaws, at one time I did have a couple s. Eupterus with them but I started to see them rasping on the noodles so they were removed and re homedThank you for the tag but I am admittedly not as familiar with bichir
What's species of bichir? My immediate inclination would be larger synodontis species
I personally had a very territorial synodontis angelicus years ago. Other species may possibly be a option also may have to overfeed.I'm lookin for a fairly active cat that could go with my bichirs in their 125 does anyone have any good suggestions?
The hoplos get big enough that they should avoid being bichir food, that's a good option as well like a big prehistoric lookin Cory sortaDianema and Hoplosternum are pretty active, hardy and I never heard that they feed on other fishes skin or slime coat.
