I'm lookin for a fairly active cat that could go with my bichirs in their 125 does anyone have any good suggestions?
What about an asian upside down catfish?
However they can be a bit aggressive.

Thank you for the tag but I am admittedly not as familiar with bichir
What's species of bichir? My immediate inclination would be larger synodontis species

It's a mix of upper and lower jaws, at one time I did have a couple s. Eupterus with them but I started to see them rasping on the noodles so they were removed and re homed

Possibly Ornatus or Lima? They both get about a foot long.

I personally had a very territorial synodontis angelicus years ago. Other species may possibly be a option also may have to overfeed.
I recently put a striped Raphael Catfish in with my senegals. The Raphael Catfish is only active during lights out.

Dianema and Hoplosternum are pretty active, hardy and I never heard that they feed on other fishes skin or slime coat.
