im making a 280 gallon tank out of plywood and a glass viewpiece. I want to have a great display of male central and some south american cichlids.
The tank is 60 inches long
I was thinking one of the following
Midas
Trimac
Chuco Godmanni
Maby a dovii but i know he grows larger than the others
Astatheros Nourisatti
2 Male Jags
Any other species
What do you think? Im using a wetdray cannister, and a large cannister, both from ehiem. Im adding many siliconed toghether pieces of bogwood and driftwood, and large rocks w a sandy substrate. For food a good quality cichlid pelets both floating and sinking and the once weekly feeding of live mollie fry.

Tell me ur thoughts and ill post pics up of the building process and the fish once they are stocked

i think it should be pretty nice

u have any suggestoins im looking for maby a diffrent species to put in. Idk if that would overstock it though. Im planning on slightly overstocking thats why i have two cannisters. The wet dry is rated for 180g and the other is like 300g or sutmhing.
