Hey Guys

I recently got a channa marulioides, his about 45cm +-
He doesn't swim much and doesn't eat much but occasionally hits himself into the tank glass at night when the lights are off.. Any idea why?

Are they aggressive?

Tank size?
His in a 4Foot for time being..Going to move him into my 2.8 meter soon just waiting for the fish in the big tank to add on some size

And when he does swim he swims comfortably in the 4foot

Well, 4 feet is about the size for a juvenile for the first 3 months.
This is probably why he hits the glass.
Thankfully, the tank is so small he can't have enough speed to hurt himself...

Wait a minute...
4 feet is 121 cm.
121 cm long go from 33 cm to 48 cm wide...
Your fish is 45 cm.

How?

**** I'll have too take him out and put him into the 2.7m...
Question: I have got a 15cm micropeltes and 15cm Jardini Arowana will have eat them if I put him into the 2.7m?

Very likely.
Either eat them, or just kill them for sport. They are 1/3 his size, those are snack sized to him.
But I would still do it, and move those two in the small tank as they'll struggle less in that volume than the 45 cm one will. It's still too small for them, but less critical.

Oh, and fair warning, your Micropeltes is going to end up killing every other fish in any tank you put it in. So in the long run, it's a ticking bomb.
