thanks guy's...........yes iam using some live plant's col sent with the channa but it doesnt look healthy....iam awful with plants

well well i have been sat here now for last hour wilst wife is watching desperate house wife's and have been watching these guy's wrapping each other and preforming ball drop's.....my wife also told me they did this for over an hour yesterday

you git !!!! , i knew as soon as i sent you one of the pairs it would be your pair that spawned lol . my pair i kept have been sulking and doing nothing .

really glad your happy with them mate , and hope they continue to spawn , there certainly old enough to go through with it now and no reason why they wont .

hehe "git" ive been called worse.....Thank's mate, all it is was wrapping,showing off fin's and ball wrap dropping.......going to remove all the tank mate's in a minute....4 whiteskirt tetra's/1 male krib/1 half banded eel,1 bristlenose plec and put these in the community tank<no where else to put them, if they do breed don't want egg's becoming a meal

Thats great Nelly! Sp. Assam are mouthbreeding right? I really loved the behavior of my Gachua when they had fry. I hope they will have some more soon (fingers crossed).

You should try some Ceratpteris sp. (plants) in your tank. they can be used both floating and planted on the bottem and are real easy. Fast growers to (will improve water quality). Ive got two species of these in my tank (both floating and planted). In my topic you can see one on the far right, this is Ceratopteris Thalictroides and one a little right of the middle (large green plant) which I have not IDed yet.
