I was wondering if I have water filter that remove chloramine will that also remove the ammonia too? I know chloramine is a bond with chlorine and ammonia so I was wondering will that remove ammonia from the water. I just found out why my tank water have so high nitrate when I keep changing water and it was caused by my tap water. Now Im installing a water filter sysytem that say it will remove chloramine so I just want to know will it remove ammonia too?

isnt seachem safe same as seachem prime? they say make the chlorine to air it out and ammonia safe for the fish and let the bacteria convert them to nitrate. that is why my water is always so high even tho I use seachem prime on the water the ammonia is still there and the bacteria converted them into nitrate
Basically the same, Safe is the dry powder version and much more cost effective.
Yea ima get a water filter that remove chromine and then install two di filter to remove ammonia I’ll let u guys know how this goes. Is this setup consider rodi system or no? I don’t want to go with rodi system because I want my water to have some mineral in it.
