Anybody out there use these things as algae eaters we have 4 or 5 and they are the best thing going had a 160 turning green and within 2 days tank is almost spot less you gotta try them and I don't think they get real big.

They will get big....

I have a 8.5" chocolate right now and it buts heads with my 12.5" common. This fish is maybe 2 years old if it's a year and a half...Deal with this fish as you would a common.

Oh, I forgot to mention that part... none of my big pleco's eat algae anymore, mostly wafers and zucchini...

Don't confuse the Albino chocolate with the Rhino which is sometimes also called a chocolate. Here's a link for the Rhino. However I've had both up to 13-14 inches before(I'm sure that wasn't max).

You maybe right the ones we have are also called the rhino do they also quit eating algae as they get older because our biggest is still a great algae eater and he is around 8 to 10 inches.
