Cholla wood question

Just wanted to know if people like using this stuff.
I soaked some in a bucket with a little bleach overnight then prime and now sun a few days.
Anything else I should do to make it safe for my tanks?

Yup! People use cholla wood for fish tanks. Atleast that’s what petsmart says ?

I’ve used cholla in all my tanks for quite some time now. Plecos like to eat it, shrimp go inside as a place to hide, and it’s a good place for bio film to grow for Fry.
I don’t even boil it. I toss it in the tank and after a day it sinks. No issues doing it that way but that’a just my experience. Pesticides in the collection point would drastically change that for others though.
it can be sanitized by boiling like driftwood but it breaks down much faster so I skip that step.
