Did a WC last night so the Bass fired up - couldn't help getting some pics.

The yellow/gold that surrounds the Ocelli is the most intense yellow colour I have seen on a fish, actually looks fake, as if someone has painted it on. Excuse the less than ideal iPhone pics.

Thanks again for the comments. While mono's are cheap as chips for the most part and fairly common, I still think that monos in good condition are very nice.

Living in Australia we have generally been quite limited in pbass species we could keep (I have kept temensis in the past). We are now starting to see other sp of Pbass. So may look at some other species in the near future.

But for now my fish room walls and floors are wet enough with 10x 12-14" Monos.
