[not one of the dwarf clawed frogs]
Just pulled mine out to put him in his new tank.. he jumped out of the net then jumped around my living room for 20 seconds or so... then i noticed when i picked him up with my hands and brought him to the new tank that his slime coat possibly got taken off. it was all over my hands and now he has substrate and cat hair stuck to him

so my concern is how hes going to do with this damage done to him

I honestly don't know much about clawed frogs or most aquatic frogs really.... but is it possibly he was just shedding skin like other frogs do?

He'll be fine. Wash him out in the tank and it'll be fine. I've had quite a few jump out and get all kinds of hair on them. They are fine.

P.S. The slime coat doesn't come off, it's just there. You can't take off a fish's slime coat and show people. It can come off to an extent but it's just a slime, not an actual skin.

yeah hes fine i just freaked out for a second. wierd tho getting that stuff all over my hands.. that was a first. felt like i was covered in elmers glue
